The Young Bucks Hit With ACTUAL Cease and Desist From WWE Over ‘Too Sweet’ Hand Gesture

cease and desist young bucks wwe

After months of joking about it, and just one day after Bullet Club “invaded” Raw, WWE sent The Young Bucks an ACTUAL cease and desist letter over the “Too Sweet” hand gesture.

Pro Wrestling Sheet has confirmed WWE reached out to the popular Ring of Honor/NJPW tag team to say they own the copyright to the “Too Sweet” hand gesture and have discovered that the brothers have been using it in other companies, as well as on merch.

Therefore, WWE is demanding the Bucks stop using WWE intellectual property in-ring and on any merchandise immediately. If not, they may be hit with $150K in damages or more.

They also want an agreement in writing saying the brothers wont use WWE IP again in the future.

It’s unclear at this point whether The Young Bucks plan to fight this, but sources tell us they’ve consulted with a lawyer and will figure out what’s best in the days to come.

While we don’t know for sure, it’s hard not to assume that this was done as a reaction to the Bullet Club “invading” Raw this week which can be SEEN HERE.

Daniel Bryan tells WWE, “use me or lose me.”

Daniel Bryan wanting to wrestle is not a new story by any means, but our sources have told us, that the situation between the WWE and Daniel Bryan is more fractured than ever after Monday night’s Raw 25th Anniversary show.

Vince McMahon doesn’t get around like he used to. Gone are the days where he would be present at every TV taping. Therefore, it’s not very often that Daniel Bryan and Vince McMahon cross paths, given that McMahon regularly allows Triple H, Michael Hayes and Brian James to handle operations on the B show. However, there was a crossing of paths last Monday night, and Bryan was very clear with his message, “use me or lose me.”

This wasn’t new information to McMahon. But with McMahon keen to not see Bryan leave the WWE in September 2018, just months after he loses Brock Lesnar, McMahon and the WWE’s medical staff finally loosened their stance on Bryan never wrestling in the WWE again, proposing that Bryan team up with Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 34 against Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. Clearly the company felt this change of heart would be enough to appease Bryan and convince him to sign a new deal, where he would primarily be paid as a WWE ambassador and Total Bellas’ cast member. However, they were very wrong. Our source has revealed that Bryan was less than thrilled with the creative plans, which involved Shane McMahon being in the ring for 90% of the match at WrestleMania, and told McMahon, in no uncertain terms, that he had “no interest” on standing on the apron for a cheap pop. McMahon had been aware of Bryan’s mindset for several weeks, but felt that he could deliver a face-to-face “Vince McMahon” speech to change Bryan’s mind. He did not succeed.

For Bryan, this isn’t about one more match and a nice send off, followed by years of easy money, concluded by a Hall of Fame induction. Bryan is fully convinced he is completely capable of safely performing in the ring, and has told the WWE he will categorically be leaving if he doesn’t have a one on one match at WrestleMania. After being told that Bryan refused to do at adhere with their creative plans, the WWE acted quickly to send a message to Bryan, in their typically petty WWE way, by booking him onto the Sunday morning slot at WrestleMania Axxess- a slot that always goes to those NOT wrestling on the WrestleMania card.
